Hi, I would like to perform some mods to my NM24. I will switch out all 4 Wima caps for Mundorf silver-oils. No problem here as this is very straightforward. I also want to replace the volume pot with either a DACT stepped attenuator or a lightspeed attenuator and would like some guidance from anyone who may have done this, or indeed from Mr Poon himself. I know there are several other worthwhile mods but am having trouble finding any info. Can anybody help please?

Hello, Replacing the Volume control on the NM24 is even simpler than replacing the caps. Here are the steps
1: remove the front panel knob. 2: remove the hex nut that holds the original volume control 3: unsolder all the wiring going to the original volume 4: wire in the new volume (of course noting the IN and OUT connections) 5: Reverse the process.
Best regards, Monarchy Audio
